Description of existing or planned walks for the Festival of Walking

Thank you for taking the time to include a walk or walks in the Festival. Please use your answers to these questions to share with us details of the walk or walks (existing or planned) that you would be happy to have included as part of the Guild's 2021 Festival of Walking, a record of walks by Companions and others, anywhere in the world, in the Guild's 150th year and as the world emerges at different speeds from the Covid lockdowns. By filling in the survey, you accept that the Guild is gathering this information to be able to share it among Companions, and to let other audiences know that the Festival is taking place. Your contact details would only be shared if you indicate that you would welcome other participants on your walk.

* 1. Where is your walk happening? (this might be name of a place, map reference, landmark, start/end locations, postcode; whatever most usefully places your walk(s). If not in the UK, please indicate your country.

If so, please let us have any information required to promote the walk to others, including the relevant map reference, a start time, booking details if required, suggestion for suitable clothing, whether the walk is suitable for anyone with limited mobility, and any other practical matters. In registering this walk or walks with the Guild, you understand that you take full responsibility for all aspects of the safe running of the walk, the health and safety of yourself and others, route finding, all legal access permissions, ground conditions and any equipment to be used. If the walk involves others, you take responsibility for risk-assessment, including being Covid-safe within current government guidelines.
