Scottish Families have a big ambition: No more hidden families. This Spring we are hosting a series of in-person events to tell a family member’s story of living with problematic alcohol and drug use. These are interactive workshop events where we will listen to this story, discussing and reflecting on what we have heard together. Scottish Families are raising awareness of families’ experiences and creating opportunities for families to be seen and heard. We believe that recognising, supporting, and including families is the change we need to see in Scotland to reduce alcohol and drug-related harm. These events are open to all, including practitioners.  We hope you can join us.

Some locations are still to be confirmed. Please register your interest and we will contact you as soon as we have finalised arrangements.

There will be mitigations in place at the event to help minimise any covid risk, including the need to wear a mask on arrival, when moving around the building, and on departure. All attendees are asked to only attend after testing negative on a lateral flow test.
