BEAMA Connected Homes Skills Survey - training organisations |
BEAMA members have initiated some work to look into how we can progress the market for connected homes to ensure the minimum competencies for installers. This recognises there are some gaps in the market and new skills emerging which will be required if we are to develop a mass market for connected devices in the home.
BEAMA is aiming to support the growth of this market and ensure there are trained installers underpinned by a recognised training course. This survey is an important step to establish the necessary structure for an initial qualification, and understand what is already available for installers in the market, and associated key competencies we should be targeting for an initial qualification. In responding to this survey you will have the opportunity to be involved in the development of this qualification and will be kept informed of ongoing work. This will include an invitation to a workshop in the Autumn.

This survey should be completed by a member of your company who has an understanding of your product range in the connected homes sector, and the necessary skills involved in the installation process. We appreciate your contribution to this work and hope to continue working with you as this progresses.
