Clydach Community Plan

A Community Plan is an opportunity for the inhabitants of Clydach to have a say about what is important to you and how you feel about where you live. The Plan can provide a long-term vision for the village and articulate local aspirations, needs and priorities. It will help the Community Council to develop your community alongside you.

Clydach needs CCTV cameras on its highways
Regular PACT meetings with police officers are required
Clydach needs to see local police officers regularly patrolling all areas of the community
Local PCSOs need to be able to reach all areas of the community by car
St Joseph's School and Ysgol Gymraeg Gellionnen need a supervised pedestrian crossing
Traffic Wardens should regularly patrol high traffic areas of the village for parking on double-yellow and zig-zag lines
Neighbourhood Watch areas should be established in Clydach 
"No Cold Callers" areas should be established in Clydach

Has responsibility for Vardre Hall, Graigfelen Hall, Forge Fach Park and the Village Green at Waverley Park
Is consulted monthly on all Planning applications within Clydach
Determines a portion of council tax each year
Acts with, and on behalf of the community on any point of concern
Makes a financial contribution towards the cleaning of streets and emptying of public bins
Donates any profits raised from events to local groups, clubs and good causes
Is responsible for events, flowers throughout the village and Christmas lights.
Works closely with our County Councillors to represent your views and concerns
