Voluntary Sector Values and Public Service Delivery
Introduction and Confidentiality Assurance
This survey aims to explore the impact of delivering public services on the values of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations. Views from all types of organisation are requested including those who do not deliver public services.
The survey should be completed by one person on behalf of your organisation. It will take around 5 minutes to complete and consists of a number of tick box questions about your organisation, its position regarding public service delivery and opinions on certain values.
The survey does not ask for names or addresses and internet IP addresses will not be recorded. The answers you provide will be aggregated with other responses and no information will be produced which could identify you from your responses. You are free to withdraw from the survey at any time. By completing the survey you are consenting to take part in this research.
Data will be kept confidential and password protected in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. The research follows the Social Policy Association Guidelines on Research Ethics and is being undertaken as part of a dissertation towards a Master's degree in Applied Social Research at the University of Hull.
At the end of the survey there is an optional question to ask if you would be willing to participate in a follow up interview to explore your views in more depth. If so you are required to add personal details so I can contact you to arrange this. You are free to ignore this question. Answers to this question will not be published as part of the results of the survey.
