This is a call for interest to the CSO who would like to be part of the national consultation regarding Preventing Violent Extremism which will take place across nine workshops held throughout 2019, designed to engage a cross section of Lebanese society in the development of a national action plan to prevent the spread of extremist ideas. This national action plan will seek to address the wide range of economic and social conditions that allow extremism to breed including a lack of economic opportunities, perceptions of inequality and a lack of trust.

Selected CSOs will participate in orientation and training activities in the preparation for the first consultation around the topic of Economic Development and Job Creation taking place in January 2019.

-Enhancing economic development and preserving financial stability Creating the enabling climate for financial stability and economic growth. Addressing all forms of economic inequality and injustice (inequality among the population - economic imbalances among regions)

-Creating Jobs - Creating Opportunities and Partnerships to enhance employment. Modernizing the E-Labor exchange processes and promoting them among Youth
 
-Innovating and Capacity Building among Youth - Improving the Education and Training System to Create Jobs. Innovating to strengthen the economic development and to enhance Youth employment
