Check your understanding - HLTA Standards

The module is mostly in the form of a quiz. It is a straightforward quiz; not designed to trip you up or to ‘test’ you, but just to ensure you have fully understood what is required in order to maximise your chances of successfully gaining HLTA status. There are 4 sections that can be completed in any order. Overall the module should take between 2 and 3 hours. You are able if you wish to complete different units on different days. You may find it useful to refer to the BPN support materials handbook and the national Preparation for Assessment Handbook available from www.hlta.org.uk.

Develop your understanding of a selection of HLTA standards by reading through the following scenario

Question Title

* 1. Scenario 1
I worked closely with a child with speech and language delay. I followed the SALT programme carefully and discussed the child's specific needs regularly with the class teacher. Although the child is not yet on the special educational needs register, we are keeping a close record of their developmental milestones in order to track any emerging concerns.

Select up to three standards which you think most closely link to the scenario. Keep in mind there is not necessarily a right or wrong answer, just a 'best fit'.
