Introduction

Thank you for taking part in this survey, which is part of an EU Horizon 2020 project. Abundance is a member of an organisation called SocialRES, which is a research and innovation project funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to assess the social value of various social and financial innovations across Europe which support action on climate change through the decarbonisation of the energy system.

This survey will focus on three topics;
- Your attitude to the climate emergency, and any steps you may have taken in response to it.
- Your attitude to the role of Local Authorities in action on climate change, and your reaction to a new investment product, a Community Municipal Bond which enables Local Authorities to better deliver climate action.
- Some information about you, to feed into broader demographic trends at the EU level.

Trinity College Dublin are the lead research partner to SocialRES, this research is to support their understanding of the potential social impact of Community Municipal Bonds. They will conduct further research following the launch of the product later in the year. All responses will be anonymised. At no point in this survey will we ask for your name, address or any other personally identifiable information.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and Innovation programme under grant agreement N°837758. If you would like any further information about how the answers provided will be used, please feel free to contact Eleanor Denny, Associate Professor of Economics at Trinity College Dublin - dennye@tcd.ie

The survey will take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.

Thank you,
The Abundance Team
