Public Toilet Facilities in Trowbridge
Public toilet facilities in Trowbridge
The previous public toilets were situated in the Town Park next to the bandstand and were underused, misused, vandalised and subject to anti-social behaviour. Many people said that even though they knew of them they did not use them and would not allow their children to use them. They were a significant cost to the Council Tax payers (maintenance, repair, cleaning) etc. Councils are not required to provide public toilets and any expense will need to be covered from residential Council Tax.
Trowbridge Town Council is asking its residents to complete a short 10 question survey on how they might use public toilet facilities in the centre of Trowbridge, especially in and around the Trowbridge Town Park area. The survey should only take a few minutes to complete, and we would ask that the survey be completed just once per resident. Additionally, you must live within the town boundary of Trowbridge. Please note that all data will be kept anonymous once analysed, and no individuals will be linked to the data. If you wish to be kept up to date with the findings of the working party and the outcome of this survey, then please email Lance Allan on lance.allan@trowbridge.gov.uk.
