In the summer of 2019, the Royal Docks Team engaged with a wide range of people across the area to help shape plans for the future. Local communities highlighted what most mattered to them, and the response make public spaces greener was noted to be a key priority.

The Royal Docks Team is delighted to announce the launch of the Royal Docks Tree Planting Programme 2020-21, one of a series of greening initiatives for the area.

The map on below shows initial areas that have been identified to plant new trees. These areas have been chosen as they have comparatively lower numbers of trees and include spaces which are owned or managed by the public sector.

New trees will be planted in local streets and parks from November 2020 to March 2021. Have your say and choose their locations now!

This consultation closes on 6 March 2020.
