Thanks for your interest in the ESU Public Speaking Competition and fantastic you’re keen to register for the next school year.
Registrations open in July and it costs £30 per team. You can enter a maximum of two teams. By completing this short form you will register your interest in the 2018-19 competition and receive updates when actual registration opens in July. This competition is open to all types of secondary school in England and Wales. Overall team performances and exceptional individuals are recognised throughout the competition with an essential focus on quality feedback.
The ESU runs a variety of programmes and competitions to create sustainable cultures of debating in schools. You can read more about our national Schools’ Mace debate tournament here and our workshops for public speaking and debating which we run in schools here.
