Dear Member,

The major increase in energy prices has significantly increased customer demand (domestic, public sector, commercial and industrial) for energy saving technology solutions. This is in addition to any longer-term demand for active measures to reduce carbon emissions (noting that most energy saving measures also achieve this aim).

Energy saving/low carbon technologies (equipment or systems) include (but are not restricted to) lighting, renewables, batteries, sensors, smart/building/grid management systems and EV charging.

With this higher level of customer demand in mind, we are interested to know if Members are experiencing any particular barriers to either operating in/moving into any of these energy saving/low carbon technology areas.

ECA plans to provide additional information to Members in the months ahead to help them engage with this increased commercial opportunity. But before adding to our current information, we would like to find out more from Members about any challenges to operating in the energy saving/low carbon space, so that we can adapt our information and guidance accordingly.
