The Children's Food Awards Nominations (also known as the Yummies and the Yuckies)

The Children’s Food Summit will be taking place on the 16th May 2023 in Leeds where we are delighted to be rewarding the unsung heroes of children’s food – the advertising heroes, unshakeable political campaigners, and local innovators. With your help, we will also be recognising the commercial villains that play such a prominent role in shaping children’s food.

We have 5 awards that are open to the public:
  • Yummy award for best local initiative improving children’s food.
  • Yummy award for a political figure championing children’s food.
  • Yucky award for pester power.
  • Yucky award for the most misleading ‘health’ claim.
  • Yucky award for the worst children’s food commercial villain.
All nominations must be for work that has taken place in the past 2 years for activity taking place in the UK. Winners will be announced publicly at the summit and will be notified in advance of the summit.

Nominations close 10am Tuesday 2 May so get voting and please do share!
