Pebworth Village Hall Further Consultation December 2018

THANK YOU for taking the time to read this and join in with our community consultation.

After nearly five years of discussions and fund raising, we have a plan and the opportunity to embark on creating the spaces and facilities our hall needs to enable the community to learn, play, work, exercise and gather together.

We have secured New Homes Bonus funding and the support of the Parish Council which means we can do some of the plan. We will need to secure more funding to do everything that is needed, and we are applying for this. We need your input in establishing what issues you have had with the hall and how you might consider using the hall in the future when the changes are made.

Please take a few moments to complete this survey by January 5th.

The plan is to create a new space and improve the facilities and reduce our carbon footprint by reducing our energy costs – which will enable our hire costs to be kept as low as possible with:

·         An extension to the back of the hall to create a meeting room with its own easy access entrance lobby, multi-use and easy access toilet, wi-fi, large windows and with a terrace to the Close.

·         A complete reconfiguration of the hall’s front lobby and toilet blocks to create separate storage areas, upgrade facilities and create easy access.

·         In the main hall new adjustable lighting track, new stage, sound system, plugs, acoustic insulation panels.

·         New boiler, new water heating system, adjustable solar roof panels.

·         Re-decoration and re-polish of our parquet floor

During December in the foyer of the hall we will be displaying the architects plans for an extension at the back of the hall and alteration to the main entrance and front lobby and toilet block – please have a look at them when you see the hall is open and let us know what you think.
