ProCAM for primary care nurse

Thank you for taking time to complete this measure to assess primary care nurse's knowledge, capability and skills relating to the early diagnosis of cancer. This survey wants to identify what your learning needs are in context to the service you currently provide and would like to provide in the future.  It has been developed with Cancer Research UK and should only take 10 minutes to complete.  Responses will be annonymised and data will be treated as confidential and not shared with third parties.

 
Specific objectives of the ProCAM:

· Knowledge of potential cancer signs and symptoms

· Knowledge of NHS cancer screening programmes, eligibility, local uptake/coverage, age extension, flexi sig screen for 55y olds, awareness of different language screening leaflets and symptom awareness.

· Knowledge and current practice of available cancer risk assessment tools

· Perceived risk and severity of cancer

· Attitudes towards cancer and early diagnosis

· Beliefs about your role in diagnosing cancer earlier

· Beliefs about patient attitudes towards cancer
