Introduction

Education Scotland has commissioned research into the impact of the STEM Education and Training Strategy on practitioners, young people and families.

The aim of the research is to consider the impact of the Round 2 of the Enhancing Professional Learning in STEM Grants programme. As a practitioner, you have recently received support for STEM professional learning through this programme. A full list of organisations delivering this support, and a summary of the support delivery, is available through the Interactive overview of Round 2 STEM grants 2019/2020 link here: https://education.gov.scot/improvement/learning-resources/a-summary-of-stem-resources/.

We are keen to hear your thoughts and experiences of the STEM professional learning you recently received, particularly around the quality and relevance of that learning, the skills and confidence you have gained, how you have applied your learning in your current role/setting, and the impact of your learning on your pupils/students.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. It is completely confidential – all responses will be aggregated and you will not be identifiable.

Your feedback will play a vital role in informing the next round of the Enhancing Professional Learning in STEM programme, and will help ensure there is adequate and relevant STEM professional learning available for practitioners at all levels.

Thank you for your help.
