Job Description
The head barista at our new espresso bar in the Jewellery Quarter is solely responsible in delivering a positive environment, which provides a fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a total quality experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Upholding high quality delivery and presentation of product
• Continue coffee theory and education and uphold standards
• Remain familiar with retail offerings and full product line up
• Upholding Quarter Horse ethos and reinforcing systems of operation
• Interacting with customers to ensure they have an amazing experience
• Ensure we maintain our standards of cleanliness and service
• Proactively engage in social media and creative marketing ideas
• Ensuring all stock taking is performed accurately and on time, with comprehensive ordering
• Rotation of stock and perishable items, as well as instilling this to other staff members
• Ensure all checklists are completed correctly
• Help with the running of events when needed
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidance including food storage
• Administration required for the fulfilment of these tasks

Skills & Qualifications:
• Previous café and coffee experience essential
• Strong organisational skills
• Food Hygiene Certification
• Leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Exceptional customer service skills

Location & Hours:
• Quarter Horse Coffee Roasters, Kenyon Street, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
• Working up to 40 hours a week
• Working week Monday - Saturday
• £12.50p/h
• Start date: January 4th 2023
