Funded Skills Training to help your business progress

The Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) programme has been developed to upskill employees within, small and medium sized businesses within Somerset. SSW provides recognised accredited qualifications and bespoke training courses to enhance your employees’ skills, increase the competitiveness of your business and boost the local economy.

In order to provide the most relevant and effective training to businesses within Somerset, please can you take a couple of minutes to complete our short survey.  Based on the results, SSW and our partner training providers will work to create tailored training to meet the needs of Somerset businesses. 

SSW is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the Education and Skills Funding Agency.  This means you can access a wide range of training at no cost to your business. Serco delivers the SSW programme in Heart of the South West area through a network of local training providers.
