Thank you for your interest in Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank

Please read the following information before you apply for free tickets to see The Taming of the Shrew as part of Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank 2017. Terms and conditions must be read and accepted before moving on to the application process.

Due to high demand, application for the project does not guarantee participation. Schools applying by 1 December will be notified as to whether your application has been successful no later than Monday 12 December 2016.

Applications will be accepted after this date and will be notified at the earliest opportunity, and from January 2017 within 14 days of applying.

As there are a limited number of performances, it is essential that schools apply as soon as possible.

We are happy for schools to bring large groups, such as whole year groups and key stages, however please be accurate with the number of tickets you will need. Once your tickets have been confirmed you must notify us of any amendments or cancellations immediately. Last minute ticket returns cannot always be reallocated, causing other schools to miss out.

There must be a 1:10 ratio of teachers/adults to students. This will be checked on the day of the performance as a prerequisite to admission.

Please be aware that some performance dates will be filled faster than others, therefore please do fill in two options.

If you are a London independent school, a home educator, a higher education institute, a primary school, or a school outside of London and Birmingham, please visit playingshakespeare.org for information about how you can purchase tickets for your school.

The Taming of the Shrew is supported by Deutsche Bank as part of 'Born to Be', its youth engagement programme which is committed to helping young people to reach their potential. Now in its eleventh year, the partnership between Deutsche Bank and Globe Education has enriched students' learning and enjoyment of Shakespeare by providing them with an opportunity to see a production at Shakespeare's Globe.
