Why do we collect this information?
Creative Scotland ask us to collect this information. We then report back to Creative Scotland who use this data to report to the Scottish Government. It is also used to inform Creative Scotland’s plans by highlighting possible inequalities and helps to address any unfairness or disadvantage across the sector. They are concerned to know if their distribution of funds is fair, and how diversity and inclusion can be furthered in the Arts, Screen and Creative Industries.
What will happen to this personal information?
Creative Scotland will only use this data for statistical reporting, bench marking and as evidence for policy making. They focus on Age, Gender, Ethnicity, Sexual Orientation and Disability.
Creative Scotland want you to be confident and satisfied that data will be handled in a sensitive, positive and appropriate way. Your information is processed by Creative Scotland in accordance with the Data Protection Act, will be managed confidentially and won’t be personally attributable.
