Introduction

The Active Thames programme brings together key strategic stakeholders including river user groups, Canal & River Trust and National Governing Bodies. It focuses on increasing recreational activity on and alongside the tidal Thames and inland waterways, and supporting the sustainability of the watersports sector across London, Kent and Essex.

Your participation in this survey will allow the Port of London Authority and its partners to gather the evidence needed to shape the development of the Active Thames programme. Ultimately, this will support decision-making and investment opportunities to increase physical activity and diversity along the tidal Thames and inland waterways.

This survey is for current and past administrative staff and volunteers in sport, recreation or physical activity on the Tidal Thames (from Teddington Lock to the North Sea), or on any inland waterway or blue space within the Greater London area.
