We need your help to improve Mental health care in CF by filling out this survey.

What are we trying to do?
We are trying to improve Mental health care for people with CF and their families.

What Is Mental Health?
Mental health is about our emotions and how we feel. It affects how we cope with life – how we think and the things we do. It affects how we handle stress, how we interact with other people and how we make choices. Mental Health is important at every stage of life. It is especially important for people with CF and their families as the day-to-day burden of living with CF can be high, although people tend to cope with this very well.

Mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety, affect many people - but help is available. People with these problems can get better with the right care.

We are interested in your views
In 2015, guidelines were published which recommended that people with CF and their caregivers should be offered screening for depression and anxiety every year. Many CF Centers have started to do this and you may have already been asked to complete the depression and anxiety questionnaires.

We are interested in your views (whether you have completed the depression and anxiety questionnaires already or not).  The views of people with CF and their families will help us to recommend the best Mental health care for those who could benefit.

The survey is anonymous. It will take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.

You will be able to find the results of the survey on the European Cystic Fibrosis Society website.
