On 25 May 2018 the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in the UK and represents the biggest shake-up in data protection laws in over 20 years. The insurance sector, with its unique distribution chain, heavy use of data and global nature, is set to feel the changes more than most industries.
