Welcome and thanks for visiting this on-line survey.

My name is Louise Katerega. I am an independent contemporary dance artist of colour, Associate Artist of People Dancing and Producer of Voice and Presence (V&P), a collaborative project supported by People Dancing, One Dance UK, Serendipity UK, State of Emergency Ltd and ACE dance and music. The Voice and Presence Survey aims to establish the first ever picture of the leadership provided by Women of the African Diaspora in participatory dance contexts across the UK.

By filling it in you will help Voice and Presence to-

ACKNOWLEDGE the work of women of the African Diaspora by demonstrating the variety, reach and scope of our contributions in participatory dance contexts throughout the UK

AMPLIFY the voice of women of the African Diaspora across the dance industry by sharing your current needs and future hopes with 5 key dance organisations committed to addressing them and whose influence ranges from funding bodies to academic institutions, nationally and internationally

CELEBRATE the achievements of women of the African Diaspora by helping us articulate the artistic, social, intellectual and economic value of their work to dance and the world beyond

This survey is mostly multiple choice and should take around 20 minutes though you have the option to take time to expand on some answers. You can skip questions, and as you cannot save answers and return to them, it is best completed in one go.

The survey is live until 11.59pm Sunday 7 January 2018.
Your time and assistance is very much appreciated.

If you need to complete via a different format e.g. audio, video, large print  or by telephone/Skype please get in touch l.katerega@yahoo.com 07971 441749

Your data will remain anonymous. You can choose to provide an email address at the end of the survey if you wish to join mailing lists of Voice and Presence supporters.
