'Play Your Part' is a one-year pilot project led by PlayBoard and funded by the Education Authority. The project aims to support youth groups to embed a culture of effective participation and practice with children aged 4 to 8 years. The project goal is to develop a training framework alongside a set of participatory tools to support youth workers to create an environment that ensures the views, opinions and the voices of children aged 4-8 years are heard within Youth settings.

As part of the initial developmental stage of our pilot we are rolling out this survey to help identify existing participatory practice for the younger age group (4 to 8 years) within youth settings.  Survey findings will help us to establish a baseline for current participatory practices whilst also identifying existing good practice and approaches. It will take you approximately 8 to 10 minutes to complete.

We would kindly ask you to complete the survey by the 13th of August 2021.

The questions in this survey are based on QAF (EA), Ask First (CiNI), Engagement framework (EA), Youth Work Core Principles (CDU) and Priorities for Youth (DfE).

The information collected in this survey will be used for the sole purpose of supporting project development. Data will be stored following GDPR Privacy Policy and Data Protection act to ensure confidentiality. Any data included in reports will be fully anonymised.
