Parliamentary Book Awards
December 6th sees the first Parliamentary Book Awards presentation in the Churchill Room at the House of Commons
The Awards, organised by the Booksellers Association and Publishers Association, will recognise the best writing by parliamentarians and about politics
There will be three awards:
Best Non-Fiction by a Parliamentarian
Best Fiction by a Parliamentarian
Best Political Work by a Non-Parliamentarian
Best Fiction by a Parliamentarian
Best Political Work by a Non-Parliamentarian
We are inviting you submit titles
Eligibility for all awards:
Books to have been first published in the UK in Hardback or Paperback between January 1st 2015 and October 31st 2016
Books by Parliamentarians to have been written by a current or former MP, MSP, AM, MLA, MEP or Member of the House of Lords
Political Works by non-Parliamentarians should relate to UK or EU parliamentary politics or politicians
Books to have been first published in the UK in Hardback or Paperback between January 1st 2015 and October 31st 2016
Books by Parliamentarians to have been written by a current or former MP, MSP, AM, MLA, MEP or Member of the House of Lords
Political Works by non-Parliamentarians should relate to UK or EU parliamentary politics or politicians
Please use this form to submit as many awards as you wish to. There is no cost for submission
From the longlist of submitted titles, booksellers will curate shortlists for each categories. The shortlists will be voted for by Parliamentarians with the three winners being announced on December 6th
