In the wake of recent revelations regarding inappropriate behaviour in many different settings, concerns have been raised within the music sector about incidents of discrimination including sexual harassment.

The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) would like to better understand the nature and extent of these issues so that we can, in collaboration with the rest of the sector, identify practical solutions to secure change on a long term basis. The first step in formulating a way forward is to ask musicians to offer their suggestions as to how we can improve the culture and conditions in which all musicians work and to share their personal experiences with us on a completely anonymous basis.
