Thank you for participating in the 2016 UK Peer-to-Peer Property Lending Borrower Survey.

This study is commissioned by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and is being conducted by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School.

This research is designed to provide a better understanding of how businesses or organisations like yours utilise peer-to-peer (P2P)  property lending in the UK. The results from this study will feed directly into the FCA's on-going regulatory review of the P2P lending sector. The outcome of this review may have an effect on how investors participate in the sector, so this is a great opportunity to have your voice heard!

This study builds upon the success of our previous annual UK Alternative Finance Industry Report: Pushing Boundaries, which highlighted the size and growth of the UK's alternative finance industry and focused upon key market trends. This report received world-wide mainstream media attention and informed evidence-based policy-making and regulation across the UK.

The survey should take no more than 10 to 15 minutes to complete and consists of 30 questions. Your answers are strictly confidential and will remain anonymous. The findings from the survey will be published in the 2017 UK Alternative Finance Industry Report, which will be distributed freely to the public, policy-makers and regulators.

This survey is best viewed on a desktop or laptop.

Thank you for your participation. Should you wish to contact the research team, please feel free to contact Tania Ziegler via email ccaf@jbs.cam.ac.uk or crowdfundingcfi@fca.org.uk. Please now proceed to the questionnaire on the next page.
