Would your business benefit from hiring outdoor space?

Cardiff Council is investigating the potential use of its outdoor event spaces for alternative activity.

We want to test the market by seeking expressions of interest from businesses/organisations wishing to explore this opportunity. The opportunity is open to any activity that is permitted by the current, or pre-announced planned changes to, Welsh Government’s coronavirus regulations and can be adapted to an outdoor environment.  

The intention is to make use of parks and open space sites, ordinarily utilised for outdoor events, to support businesses/organisations who may be experiencing limitations within their usual indoor premises/venues due to Covid-19.

This may be of particular interest to the health and fitness, and performing arts sectors, but all expressions of interest are welcome.
