Deadline for Applications: 9am Wednesday 7th April 2021

We are looking for up to 5 events/performances/workshops to programme as part of our annual festival Our City Dances 2021 including:
  • An event or performance that will be performed in the playground of Puffin Nursery and aimed at children aged 2+ and their families. We hope for something colourful and celebratory, that people may happen upon, or be able to see without being part of a large audience. This event will also be filmed and presented on the SED website.
  • A live dance performance for Brooke Mead extra care housing for people living with dementia. This should take place outside for residents to watch safely from inside the building, but has the flexibility to move sites if needed. This event will also be filmed and presented on the SED website.
  • Have a go workshops suitable for all levels and delivered live on zoom, with the possibility to be delivered at an outside central Brighton location depending on government guidelines.
NB: If your work doesn’t fit into one of these categories but you still feel that it would bring a richness to our programme we would be happy to hear from you (Please select ‘Other’ category in Question 5 of the application form).
