Data submission to Ofgem

We want to improve how we collect data from the energy industry, to provide a more secure, resilient and user-focused service. We’re looking to rationalise our range of different data collection mechanisms and over time replace all of these methods with a new modern digital service – the Data Exchange.

This survey is intended to help us understand any issues with the way we ask you for data and to help us identify areas where there could be room for improvement. We also want to understand the priorities for suppliers in terms of functionality around the submission of data. 

This survey is confidential. We will use the data from the survey to help inform the development of the Data Exchange and related Ofgem projects. We may mention some of what we have learnt from the survey in public updates on our website, but we won't identify any of the people or companies who take part. Data from the survey will be kept in accordance with our GDPR policy.
