EPIC Project at Sompting Brooks

Restoring the Broadwater Brook

The Ouse & Adur Rivers Trust are working in partnership with the Sompting Estate Trust to divert the current, culverted course of the Broadwater Brook and re-route it across Sompting Brooks. This will be complimented by the provision of a new river trail for the public and will provide a distinctive area of green space for local residents.

Currently supported by a Heritage Lottery Fund development grant we are looking at a variety of ways we can include the community in all aspects of the project and in ways that provide something for everyone.

We will be hosting a public event in January to show designs for the scheme which aims to provide a high quality area for the community to enjoy into the future.

Before this event we  are very interested in your opinions and input as we look to refine ideas and develop new ones. We want the project and the outcomes it delivers to be relevant and appealing and we would be very grateful if you would take 10 minutes to complete this short survey, giving us your honest thoughts and opinions.
