As reported to you on several occasions the IGBA finds itself in a situation where it must decide upon a course of action regarding the Gloster model and pictorial.
The GFCC UK has effectively forced through a change that did not allow due consultation or involvement from experienced fanciers and judges of long standing. The IGBA has written on several occasion asking for a retraction only to be snubbed and rebuked at every attempt. The pictorial published in Cage & Aviary Birds is sub standard and the IGBA cannot endorse this as a replacement to the existing Minjoodt Model. Therefore, we must decide if being affiliated to the GFCC UK is correct for us or do we distance ourselves in protest.
