Asia Pacific Forest Governance Forum 2021

This Asia Pacific Forest Governance Forum (FGF) 2021 is being held as part of the Strengthening non-state actor involvement in forest governance projects in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea. The project is implemented by BirdLife International, jointly with the Centre for International Development and Training (CIDT) and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of The Republic of Indonesia and it is finding by the European Union (EU). The FGF is modeled along with the well-known Chatham House bi-annual Global Forum on Forest Governance formerly known as the Illegal Logging Update meetings. If you are interested in giving a presentation at the FGF 2021, please fill out the below form before the 30th of August 2021. If you are selected, the organizers will get back to you via email for further instructions. 
The presentations given at the FGF have to be relevant to one of the below thematic areas: 

• 27th September: High-level panel on forest governance. Regional and global approaches for improving forest governance, biodiversity conservation, and climate change.
• 28th September: Exploring how transparency and accountability drive effective forest governance
• 29th September: Public, private, or both? The role of non-state actors in forest governance.
• 30th September: Making a difference for the coming decade – Sustaining change and maintaining the momentum.
