Fenland District Council is proposing to extend the existing Dog Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in relation to dog control for a further 3 years. We are consulting with the community to get their views on these proposals.

We propose to follow the same criteria where the following activities must be adhered to. These are:
  • Dog faeces to be removed from any land to which the public have access
  • Dogs to be put on a lead when requested by an authorised officer
  • Dogs to be on a lead in some open play areas, public facilities, closed cemeteries, and churchyards
  • Dogs to be excluded from fenced/gated play areas and open cemeteries
In the main, all areas will have the same controls as they currently do.
