New Social Leaders aims to bring values driven social leaders together to learn through exploration of common leadership challenges and relevant concepts.  It is not a traditional accredited management or leadership course, rather it takes a fresh and different approach to learning, reflecting the contemporary challenges of today's social leaders.  Previous participants tell us the value comes from connecting and sharing their experiences together through expert facilitation from the course leader and from exploring engaging learning materials provided in advance of each session.  It is therefore very much about group discussion, peer support / challenge and personal reflection with facilitation, direction and core materials provided to support you in your learning journey.  

There are a few expectations on participants to help this work:
  • You try and ensure your tech is working and arrive in time for the online group workshops
  • You share your video / turn on your camera
  • You do your best to engage with the materials provided in advance of each session
  • You contribute your ideas and share your experiences with others in the sessions and ideally in an accompanying WhatsApp group too
  • You become a critical friend, helping us continually improve the offer.
In return you can expect
  • 4 x 2 hour learning workshops (one every other week across 2 months
  • Facilitated learning discussions during the workshops
  • Helpful and proportionate learning materials much of which has been designed exclusively for New Social Leaders
  • Supported connections to further mentoring and coaching opportunities if that is something that you want.
  • Invitations to future gatherings and events with other people involved in the New Social Leaders movement
 
We believe in fair pricing and promoting access for those without massive training budgets in their organisations. The New Social Leaders experience costs £150+VAT per person.
