ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition (Years 7-9): Judge Training 2021-22 |
Judging the ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition
The ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition allows Key Stage 3 in England and Wales, between the ages of 11 and 14, to demonstrate and develop their creativity, their confidence and their ability to express themselves.
This training is designed as a supportive tool for both newcomers to judging and as a refresher for veteran judges. In this training you will find some notes on the format of the competition, the marking criteria and advice on giving feedback. This is an abridged version of the Judge Handbook, however you will need to read the full document in order to complete the training. This can be found here. The School Handbook can also be usefully accessed here.
