Durham Community Action are working with the Ballinger Charitable Trust to distribute a small number of £500 grants across Derwent Valley, Teesdale and Weardale to support groups to re-emerge from ‘COVID hibernation.’
The grants can be for revenue or capital expenses and must be spent within 12 months.

Any project costs to which a grant is awarded must be no more than £1,000 and the grant will only be released when the project costs have been funded in total.

Groups need to be constituted or working towards being constituted and grants will be paid to a recognised community group bank account or can be held and distributed through Durham Community Action if there is not a bank account in place.
If you would prefer to discuss your idea please email info@durhamcommunityaction.org.uk with your telephone number and a member of the team will be in touch.
