Procurement

The purpose of this Questionnaire is to obtain the Voluntary Sector’s perspective on participating in procurement exercises run by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (the “Council”).  The Council spends in excess of £140 million a year on the external procurement of goods, works and services and it has a critical impact on its performance and success. The Council relies on external procurement for the delivery of services and therefore it is vital that procurement is managed and co-ordinated in a professional manner and that we obtain value for money on all procured goods, services and works.

We are seeking information in relation to your experiences of participating in procurement exercises, the particular challenges you face and whether any additional support or guidance would be of assistance. The information provided will support the Council in developing its new procurement strategy. It will also inform the work being taken forward around procurement and commissioning as part of the Voluntary Sector Liaison Committee.

Please answer the questions below. If any of the questions do not apply to your organisation, please insert N/A.
