GP Prescribing Systems implementing 'MUST': Questionnaire

Calling all community health care professionals working in primary care.

Malnutrition is a common and costly problem, identification and appropriate management is key and has significant clinical and economic benefits.

NICE recommends screening for malnutrition with a tool such as the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (‘MUST’). MUST is a five-step screening tool which includes step 1 (BMI score); step 2 (unplanned weight loss score); step 3 (acute disease effect score); step 4 (overall risk of malnutrition); step 5 (management).

The Malnutrition Action Group of BAPEN (www.bapen.org.uk) have a vision for ‘MUST’ to be incorporated into GP systems, simplifying the identification and management of malnutrition. We are keen to gain some insights to progress this work. We would be grateful if you could spare 5 minutes to answer our short survey.
