ARMA and NHS R&D Forum – Working Across the Academic/NHS Interface in Research

In 2021, ARMA and the NHS R&D Forum joined forces and provided 2 sessions aimed at Research Professionals who support clinical, social care and translational research across the Academic/NHS interface.

In February 2021, we jointly hosted a session entitled The Importance of Team Science and Systems Leadership in Biomedical and Health Research. COVID-19 presented us with the opportunity of the perfect case study.

In June 2021, we jointly hosted a session with the Health Research Authority (HRA) entitled Getting Ready for the new HRA Student Research Policy, and from this we are actively exploring a self-sustaining community of interest to link with the HRA in this very important area.

ARMA and the NHS R&D Forum are very keen to support Research Professionals who work in such complex environments.
