Introduction

In 2021, ARMA and the NHS R&D Forum joined forces and provided 2 sessions aimed at Research Professionals who support clinical, social care and translational research across the Academic/NHS interface.

In February 2021, we jointly hosted a session entitled The Importance of Team Science and Systems Leadership in Biomedical and Health Research. COVID-19 presented us with the opportunity of the perfect case study.

In June 2021, we jointly hosted a session with the Health Research Authority (HRA) entitled Getting Ready for the new HRA Student Research Policy, and from this we are actively exploring a self-sustaining community of interest to link with the HRA in this very important area.

ARMA and the NHS R&D Forum are very keen to support Research Professionals who work in such complex environments. As we move forward in our planning, we would like to hear from those who work across the Academic/NHS interface in research as to what would meet your training and development needs, as well as creating a space to meet colleagues to share best practice and build networks.

We would therefore be grateful if you would complete this short questionnaire to help us shape an offer which will meet your needs.
