CIOL invites nominations

We are calling for nominations for the next winner of the Threlford Cup - our prestigious award for inspiring the learning of languages. The cup is presented annually to a person, or for a project, that has inspired others with an initiative which has advanced language use or language-learning.

It could be a teacher, school or group of schools, who have inspired young minds, a business, public service or not-for-profit organisation that has led a project, an advocate, volunteer or someone who works hard within a local community to keep alive a community language and connections to culture. We'd love to hear from you!

Please read the criteria on the CIOL website and complete the details on this form, ideally supplying names and contact details of two referees in support of your nominee.

The winner will be announced at the CIOL Conference in London in March 2022.
