Introduction
Integrating digital technologies in the way products are designed and made has been identified as critical to the future competitiveness of advanced manufacturing industries. As a North East digital business we are keen to understand the extent to which your business is working with advanced manufacturing companies to help them adopt digital technologies and what support you would value in taking advantage of this potential market.
This will help the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and its partners (Tees Valley Combined Authority, Digital Catapult, High Value Manufacturing Catapult, North East Automotive Alliance, First for Pharma, Durham University and the North East England Chamber of Commerce) develop an appropriate programme of support to help digital companies in the North East build linkages with advanced manufacturing companies.

The results will also feed into the Science and Innovation Audit (SIA) being drafted by the partners for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
