Introduction
Integrating digital technologies in the way products are designed and manufactured has been identified as critical to the future competitiveness of advanced manufacturing industries. We are keen to understand the extent to which your business is already making use of digital technologies and what support you need to take advantage of these technologies going forward.
This will help the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and its partners (Tees Valley Combined Authority, Digital Catapult, High Value Manufacturing Catapult, North East Automotive Alliance, First for Pharma, Durham University and the North East England Chamber of Commerce) develop an appropriate programme of support to help advanced manufacturing businesses assess and adopt digital technologies.
The results will also feed into the Science and Innovation Audit (SIA) being drafted by the partners for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Your answers are entirely confidential and anonymous – only the SIA team within the North East LEP will have access to your answers.
