NERDATF Strategic Plan Survey

The North East Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force (NERDATF) is one of ten Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Forces in Ireland that were set up in 2003 from recommendations in the then National Drugs Strategy (NDS). NERDATF works to facilitate a more effective response to drug and alcohol related problems experienced by communities across the North East area and involves those directly affected by the problems in the development of an area based drug & alcohol strategy. 

This partnership work is carried out under key goals as identified in the National Drug & Alcohol Strategy, Reducing Harm Supporting Recovery, A health-led response to drug & alcohol use in Ireland 2017-2025. It works to facilitate a more effective response to drug and alcohol related problems experienced by communities across the midlands area and involves those directly affected by the problems in the development of an area based drug & alcohol strategy.  

The North East Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force (NERDATF) is currently engaged in the development of its new strategic plan for the period 2022 - 2025. S3 Solutions has been appointed by the NERDATF to undertake this piece of work.  As part of this process we want partners and stakeholders to have a role in shaping the strategy.
