Network Member Input

The CYP NENC Diabetes Network Steering Group are keen to ensure that the work being developed by the network reflects national, regional and local agendas; to this end, we have developed this short survey to give all network members an opportunity to influence the direction of travel in the coming weeks, months and years.

The national network 5-year Delivery Plan has identified main 4  aims -

1) Care Pathway - Every child should have access to the same level of care and education
2) Access to Technology - All children and young people should have access to clinically appropriate diabetes technology (we have been asked to lead on this work stream)
3) Workforce and Education - There should be nationally defined and enforced paediatric diabetes job roles, staffing ratios and educational standards
4) Family and Patient Engagement - We will have full parent, children and young people representation and voice in diabetes services (we will be participating in and learning from this work stream)

Two sub-aims of Transition and Type 2 (we have network representation on the T2 Group) will be in stringently linked to all four aims.

Please consider these aims when answering the below questions.
