Animal History Research Directory – Privacy Notice

Who are we?

As you probably know, we’re the Animal History Group, an independent group of academics, students and museum professionals – if you need to contact us about this privacy notice, you can do so at any time at animalhistorygroup@gmail.com.

How and why will we process the information you provide us?

We will use the information you provide to us solely for the purpose of creating a publicly-available Animal History Research Directory. We hope this will be a useful navigation tool for those pondering a new topic in animal history, providing us all with the ability to connect with people across the field.

How long do we keep your information for?

We will maintain the Research Directory for as long as the group exists. However, you can withdraw your consent for us to hold your details at any time and we will remove them – just let us know by sending us an email at animalhistorygroup@gmail.com.

Will we share your information with other organisations?

We will not share your details with any other organisations. However, the Research Directory is designed to be publicly accessible, so the details you submit to us will be visible to anybody who visits the group’s website.

What is our legal basis for processing your information?

Data protection legislation allows us to use your personal information in this way because you have actively given us your permission through the completion of this survey.
