YOUR VIEWS ARE VITAL TO THE SUCCESS OF THE BOWERS GIFFORD & NORTH BENFLEET NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

Basildon Borough Council is in the process of developing the Local Plan which will determine the scale and location of all new development in the Borough and also in Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet. The Parish Council can influence the location and scale of any such development by preparing a Neighbourhood Plan which sets out how the village can develop into a better place to live and work. Neighbourhood Plans are not designed to prevent development but can be a powerful tool in shaping the location, level, design and nature of future development.
The Parish Council is the body qualified to enable the making of the Plan but its preparation is being led by a task group made up of residents and Councillors who live and work in the Parish. Community engagement is the KEY to the success of the Bowers Gifford & North Benfleet Neighbourhood Plan. Your views and feedback are vital in helping to shape this Neighbourhood Plan.

We would appreciate it if you can take a few minutes of your time to complete this questionnaire and thank you for participating.

The questionnaire can also be accessed on the Parish Council website at: www.essex.info/bgnb-parishcouncil and will be available at each of the Exhibition drop-in events (details below) where you can get more information on proposals.
