Survey Information

Over the past 18 months we've been busy listening to you about what you would like to see in York city centre in the future. As residents, businesses and stakeholders, like us, you care deeply about York. By listening and engaging with you we've heard lots of amazing views, ideas and suggestions about what you want the city centre to look like in the future,

Your feedback has helped us to build a vision for the city centre. Once agreed this vision will guide investment and shape development and improvement projects in York city centre for decades to come.

We need your help again. In this short survey we want to know how you feel about the recommendations, with a sliding scale from strongly agree to strongly disagree. Whether you agree or disagree, you are invited to comment with more information behind your reasoning.

Before taking part in the questionnaire you may wish to familiarise yourself with the My City Centre Vision: https://www.york.gov.uk/MyCityCentreYork. The questionnaire starts on Monday 13th September and closes on Thursday 30th September.

Please note, access to the city centre will be addressed in further depth as part of the Strategic Review of City Centre Access and Parking. Further information will be announced shortly. Thank you again for your support and insight, it really does make a difference.

We want your comments on eight themes and the vision statement which we’ve structured the vision around following your feedback. In total, the survey will take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.
