The Strategy Development Group would like to thank all those who gave their time to share their lived experience as an unpaid carer in Moray in the first stage of our engagement.
We welcome all unpaid carers – whether they were involved previously or not – to work with us to continue developing the strategy and to set the future priorities and improvement actions.
From discussions with carers and their responses to the earlier survey, we have identified five top level themes to focus on -
1.    Care are supported by carer-aware communities

2.    Carers have access to information, advice and support

3.    Carers are supported to have a life alongside caring

4.    Carers are valued and empowered

5.    Carers are supported in education and the workplace
